I'm not a technology genius, so I can only say that the picture looks great and there are many options to tweak the picture quality if this is a selling point for you. I can say that the red frame in real life is much more subtle and classy than in images I've seen on the internet. I love the many HDMI inputs and it doubles nicely as a large computer monitor. As far as glare, I've had no problems but I also don't have the set in an extremely sunny room. I've read alot of complaints about the remote. I have to say that the Ipod style wheel isn't practical, but by no means is a necessary tool you have to use. The only problem I have with the remote is the fact that the "enter" button seems a bit far from the channel buttons, making me have to move my thumb farther than I would like to change channels.
