Lowest Price Samsung LN40A650 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color

For my first flat screen tv, I researched for months, and Samsung consistently came out on top. I went for the 40" due to space in my TV cabinet. A good size for my living room (seating approx 9-10 ft away). Fabulous TV, as 99.9% of reviews support. What I want to point out is the 650 series vs the 630 series. I was settled on the 630 series due to fear of excessive glare from the 650 (many reviewers warn on this). At a local store, I viewed the 630 and 650 side by side and there was a noticable difference in picture quality; the 650 was better (deeper blacks, etc). I got the 650. My living room has several windows and there is a patio door in the connecting kitchen that faces the tv. I've watched tv and bluray in both daylight and night. Glare is absolutely not a problem. I worried for no reason. Glare-wise, it's no different (maybe better) than any other tv I've had over the years. It's a great tv with great features. And what a picture - yikes! As far as the red color "stripe" around the tv frame; it is so subtle that you really can't see it from any distance - it's a non issue. My research paid off - a wonderful product.
