We wanted an LCD TV and Consumer Reports highly rated the 550 model and the next step up was the 650 with the 120HZ for clearer moving pictures. It replaced an old 27". The picture is beautiful in HD and it will be enjoyed for years. I'm glad we didn't get a larger screen size as it would be like sitting in the front row of the theater and we wouldn't be able to see everything.
